After you are in the safe hands of Yasumi tours, you will be escorted to a beautiful beach hotel in Colombo. Depending on the time of arrival and your preference a visit to beach or to a fishing village will be arranged.
The day starts with departing for Polonnaruwa, the 2nd Kingdom of Sri Lanka after breakfast. Polonnaruwa remains as one of the best planned archeological sites in the country; together with the largest man built reservoir in Sri Lanka: Parakrama Samudraya.
On the following day you will proceed to Anuradhapura, the 1st kingdom of Sri Lanka which is also another renowned historical site including the remnants of palaces, pagodas, lakes, sculptures and many more.
The day after, you will be headed to Sigiriya Rock Fortress after breakfast. At the end of a wonderful tour to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress with beautiful frescoes and the sphinx-lion headed gateway you will be headed to Kandy, en-route drop by the World heritage, Dambulla cave temple and the Spice gardens in Matale.
Upon arrival at Kandy, first you will have to check in at the hotel and later in the evening, visit the sacred Temple of Tooth Relic and watch a Kandyan Cultural dance performance.
The next day is commenced followed by a mini tour around Kandy, the last kingdom of Sri Lanka after breakfast. The mini tour includes a visit to Peradeniya Royal Botanical gardens and Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage to spend some amicable moments with elephants; feeding, watching them bath, riding them.
The night will be spent in Kandy.Following the breakfast you will depart to the ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka or Nuwara eliya; en-route visit a tea plantation to see how women pluck the ‘Green gold’ tea leaves. The day would be off after a mini tour in Nuwara eliya in the late afternoon to many must visit places such as Gregory lake, Lover leap etc.
After a good night`s sleep at Nuwara eliya, the next day you will be headed to yet another exciting day at Yala National Park or Bundala Wildlife Park and get a closer look at a diverse of animals such as deer, peacocks, elephants and even leopards and bears!
The final day begins with breakfast followed by a visit to Galle Dutch Fort and afterwards to the airport or to any other desired location.
